Introducing Mike and Kim Wright and their sons Carter and Cameron. They have lived in Harmony Florida since 2017.
The family atmosphere was one of the key factors in why they choose to live in Harmony. They had noticed a lot of families with strollers and lots of people riding bicycles in the community and that was great to see. It reminded Mike of how he grew up. Kim stated that she noticed and felt that small-town feeling which was really charming.
Mike and Kim lived in Jensen Beach Florida prior to moving to Harmony. Jensen Beach was really busy when the snowbirds came back into town and then it would quiet back down. Mike said that it is quiet all the time in Harmony and that it is nice to be able to walk around the neighborhood without all the traffic.
Mike and Kim were having their home built in Harmony while still residing in Jensen Beach and they were coming back and forth to check it out. They would come into town about every weekend to checking progress on their home and look around. One weekend they came into their still-unfinished house and there was an invitation to a street “Friendsgiving” like a Thanksgiving event. Their home wasn’t finished, and they hadn’t even moved in yet and they were getting invited to a street party for Thanksgiving. They thought that was neat to be a part of a community like that before they had even moved in.
Mike’s background was working in the military. He is focused on business growth in the defense industry for the military. Kim is a nurse and has been in ER and trauma for the last 20 years. She is currently a trauma program director for a local area trauma center and that keeps her plenty busy.
