Introducing Kevin and Jessica Shea and their daughters Emmelyn and Eliana. They have been residents of Harmony for since Thanksgiving of 2018.
They were asked what factors made them choose to live in Harmony, FL? Jessica had found Harmony on a map seven years ago and it has always going to be their long-term plan and to retire here. My job opportunity made it happen that much faster. Another reason was that the location is halfway between Disney Land and the beach.
Kevin stated that were from New Hampshire and said there were many differences between where they lived and here in Harmony. The land is flat in Florida versus New Hampshire and he said that he would never be an HOA type of person, but he thinks it is actually kind of nice.
Jessica stated it has been a good move for their daughters because they love the community where they can play with their friends and ride their bikes in the neighborhood unlike where they lived. The girls said they love going to Disney Land and to the beach.
Kevin said that they love their neighbors and the fact that nobody that lives here shuts you out because nobody is from here. And because everyone is new here, they welcome you like family. Jessica stated they moved from a place where their whole family lived around them and now their neighbors have become their family.
