1. Rent a U-Haul truck. 2. Use their Movers. The U-Haul website or portal has a list of movers to pick from. 3. Read the reviews. When viewing the list of movers, you can read each of their reviews so it can help you make an informed decision. There are three levels from which to choose. 4. Prioritize and have the movers start upstairs if you have a two-story home. 5. Pack the little stuff first. Do not waste the time you have the movers for. You pack the little things while you have them move the larger, heavier items.
The couple on this video who offered this advice to benefit you have done this twice and had excellent results. The movers show up on time and they are ready to work. They do what you ask them to do. They work non-stop and get the work done.
You will be surprised at how much work they can get done in a three-hour time frame. Unless you have the budget to pay full price and have a full moving company come and pack everything and be completely hands-off for you, then this is a great option.
