St. Cloud Florida real estate agent Superstar Kris van der Snel of Corcoran Connect is being interviewed by Jeanine Corcoran. First, Jeanine asked Kris how long she has been a realtor. She replied that she has been a realtor since July 2012.
She was then asked by Jeanine what inspired her to become a realtor. Kris responded that she worked for a local commercial developer and did all the paperwork in the office. Her boss convinced her to get her real estate license so that she would get the bonus of getting the commission from the deals that she was already doing the paperwork on.
Jeanine then asked Kris what her favorite part is about being a realtor. She answered that she loves working with people and helping them find their ideal home and making their dreams come true. Kris also mentioned that she loves working with sellers when they are ready to make their next move on their new dream. She loves establishing relationships with people and helping them get to their end goal.
Jeanine then asked Kris to tell the audience more about her and what she likes doing in her off time aside from real estate. She is originally from just outside of New York City and moved to Florida in 2001. She moved in Harmony Florida in late 2004. Kris has done the Harmony shuffle 5 times which simply means she has never left Harmony since moving there. Kris believes she lives in her dream home now and Jeanine agreed that it is a beautiful custom home. She said her son lives with her and her mom lives just 7 houses down from her.
Jeanine asked Kris to share a story or experience that was meaningful to her. She said that just recently she closed on a home for buyers from California who was a referral from another client. The search for the home started in mid-November and they found a home in Hanover Lakes. They looked online at many homes, but this one home kept pulling them back.
The week before Christmas, Kris contacted the listing agent, and they did a virtual tour through Facetime, and they just absolutely fell in love with the house. She spoke with the listing agent because the buyers had to list their father’s home for sale. This had to happen so that everything would work out perfectly, which it did.
Kris said by the second week in January the buyers called Kris and said they were on their way to Florida, and they wanted to see the house. She put the contract in and it was a seamless process even though they were 3,000 miles away. They closed on the home in March and now Kris is helping them with some furniture deliveries and helping them get their home ready as they will soon be Florida residents.
Jeanine added that this happens a lot where real estate agents here help buyers from out of state and hence the reason why videos are so important to the process.
She then asked Kris what she loved about working at Corcoran Connect? She responded that she loves the people she works with and that everyone meshes well. Kris continued that we all have different strengths and weaknesses, and we are all here for each other. She stated that it is like a family here at Corcoran Connect.
