St. Cloud Florida real estate agent Superstar Michael Ault of Corcoran Connect is being interviewed by Jeanine Corcoran. Michael was first asked by Jeanine how long he has been a realtor. He replied that he has been a realtor for just short of 5 years now.
Jeanine followed up and asked him how he likes it so far and Michael stated that it has been interesting. He continued that it can be fulfilling and that it is definitely challenging at times. Michael loves it when he helps people get to the finish line where they become homeowners. He stated that is very gratifying.
Michael was asked by Jeanine what inspired him to go into real estate. He replied that he had retired from law enforcement after 20+ years. He took about one year off and enjoyed himself. What inspired him was the fact that he always liked real estate and after listening to many people around him, it gave him the impression of being glamorous. Jeanine interjected and said, and then you got in and learned the truth. Michael said after being retired for a year, his wife told him to go find a job and so he attained his real estate license. He said it has been interesting and fun at the same time.
Jeanine asked him what are the other parts of real estate that he loves. Michael answered that he likes the challenge. Whether it’s the initial contract or the home inspection, there tend to be certain things that all parties need to agree on. That is what he was trained to do in law enforcement. He was trained to bring resolution to an existing conflict that all parties could accept, and it is no different in real estate.
Jeanine asked Michael to tell the audience a little bit more about himself. Michael said that he is just an ordinary guy. He said he is a quiet guy. When in law enforcement, you don’t let the public know very much about your personal life. It is a very private life while I was in law enforcement. Michael then talked about going into real estate and being on social media which he never was in law enforcement. It was all new to him and now he is opening up and posting and it was an adjustment for him to adapt to.
He also added that he is learning to become more visible on the internet each and every day. Anyone who knows Michael understands that he likes to help people and is always lending a hand where needed. It is just part of who he is. He shared he is an usher at his church and goes to mass every Wednesday and Sunday.
Jeanine asked him to share one thing that he loves when it comes to working with the team at Corcoran Connect. Michael said he loves the team here and that it has grown immensely in the last year or so. He said the team here is always nice and helpful which includes Kris Van Der Snel who is the coordinator and is always there to help. What he loves about the agency is how much Jeanine provides for her real estate agents. The tools and resources are awesome and help me do my job more efficiently. Jeanine also wanted to share that Michael is quite funny and loves to make people laugh.
