The answer is NO. When you apply for a mortgage, your personal credit report will be pulled multiple times before closing. Some lenders will pull your credit an hour before closing.
If the lender sees that you or anyone in the transaction has taken a cash advance or loan, your entire deal will be in jeopardy.
