We've received a lot of questions and requests for more information about our experience buying land in Spain, and so in this video we share everything with you about how we researched different rural properties for sale in Spain, worked with estate agencies to view various options, and bought our land here in Catalunya. We talk about gaining permission to build and renovate, as well as share some resources to help you on your own search.
We also return to the land after 2 months away, to check how the long summer of intense heat, high winds and heavy rainstorms has affected our little off grid homestead and future tiny house in the mountains. We make a bit more progress on the wooden cabin, too.

You. may need a "Cita previa" (an appointment) to speak to someone about building restrictions/permissions etc. An Arquitecto Technico will most likely be the right person there to help you.
