Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve just did a pivot. They stopped hiking interest rates in June 2023 for the first time in nearly 15 months.
However, they are projecting that they will continue to increase interest rates two more times for the rest of 2023. Suggesting that Mortgage Rates will continue to stay around 7% for the rest of the year.
