The UK house price crash has started and there is now no way back for the UK housing market!
UK house prices in 2022 have reached record levels, however, after recent massive increases in mortgage repayments a UK property crash now looks unavoidable.
As I mentioned in a recent video, I have already sold my house as I strongly believe the UK housing market will CRASH in 2022 and 2023. I think this will be a long, sustained drop in house prices as higher interest rates become the norm again.
Mortgage costs have sky rocketed due to interest rate rise increases, add this to soaring energy costs and inflation running in double digits, and seems inevitable that house prices to drop.
Bank of England researchers believe that the increase in UK house prices since the global financial crisis has been led by low interest rates. If these low interest rates are coming to an end then the housing market is in trouble.
The UK property crash will see the housing bubble burst like never before, I don't think the government will be able to prevent a full correction like they did in 2008 with quantitive easing and low interest rates.
