Unfortunately, even good news is bad news in 2023 as the interest rate increases continue, with buyers begging for more affordable mortgages. Up is down and left is right as the Fed pauses raising rates while simultaneously telling us they WILL raise rates. With inflation still too hot to handle, the Fed knows they’ll need to make more drastic moves to calm the housing market or crush high employment numbers. But, even if mortgage rates continue to rise, real estate investors have some simple strategies for making money during these tough times.
