Most Americans still holding onto that dream have started hunting for places it can still be achieved without living near a toxic waste dump or in a city so dangerous it could be the backdrop for the next installment of Mad Max. Today, we look at places that might not be the best but have homes for $100,000 or less. Obviously, these aren’t beachfront cities in Hawaii or charming towns in New England.
