AREIT, Inc. (AREIT) was incorporated on September 4, 2006 as a real estate company. The Company was originally known as One Dela Rosa Property Development, Inc. before changing its name to the present one on April 12, 2019.
The Company operates as a real estate investment trust (REIT) which principal investment strategy is to invest in income-generating real estate. To meet the investment criteria, a potential new property should be located in a prime location in either Metro Manila or key provinces in the Philippines; be primarily focused on commercial operations; and have stable occupancy, tenancy, and income operations. The Company's sponsor is Ayala Land, Inc.
As of December 31, 2021, AREIT's property portfolio consists of 11 Grade A office buildings located in Makati City, Muntinlupa City, Negros Occidental, and Cebu, one commercial development in Pasig City, and industrial lots in Laguna Technopark. The land on which the buildings are built do not form part of the Company's asset portfolio and is not owned by the Company.
