In this video, I share my tips for buying a second home before selling first in 2022 and what you should know leading up to it. Our current real estate market has become quite challenging for buying a house before selling your first one. Home sale contingencies are almost never accepted because homeowners selling their houses don't have to due to demand. Here in the Northern Virginia real estate market, we are in an extreme seller's market where multiple offers are commonplace with fierce competition from other buyers. With that said, buying a second home before selling IS possible and there are several ways to do so.
