Jeanine asked Russell why he chose her and The Corcoran Connection to sell his home in Saint Cloud. He said he only owned his home for less than two years. He interviewed 5 different realtors in Saint Cloud, and no one told him he would have to pay capital gains tax because of selling his home after owning it for less than two years.
Russell continued and said either these 5 other realtors were not knowledgeable or just wanted to get his contract and didn’t care. Jeanine had directed Russell to check with his accountant on that and he did. It would have cost him more than the commission to the realtors had he done this.
There was also an issue with the measurements on Russell’s home which is a model home. His home was bigger than that and Jeanine figured it out. Jeanine knew there was something funny about the measurements and in the end, Russell’s home was 2,300 sq. ft. so this was a huge correction.
