Ruqia, a hardworking nomadic mother, is going through hard but trying days with her sons in her small house. Today, like in the past, the operator has brought food for the family; but this time Ruqia begins her day with hard and tiring work in a field.
According to the employer's orders, Ruqia's mission is to pick ripe peppers, eggplants and cucumbers from the field. With tired hands but a strong will, she works for hours in the scorching heat to complete her mission. Finally, Ruqia manages to collect all the desired products and returns home happy after receiving her salary.
But after returning, Ruqia notices a deep distance between herself and her son Reza; a distance that is very worrying for this mother. Reza, who is considered his mother's only hope and support, avoids talking to her mother because of his interest in Yalda, the neighbor's daughter.
But this time, Ruqayeh makes a decision that even Reza doesn't expect!
This mother decides to sell the house and farm completely and move away from this area so that Reza will never see Yalda, the neighbor's daughter. Ruqayeh contacts a real estate agent to implement her decision, and shortly after, the real estate agent and the buyer enter the farm.
The buyer and the real estate agent examine different parts of the farm, and after the talks, the amount of one billion and four hundred million tomans is determined for the sale of the farm. Even the writing of the contract begins; but right at this moment, Reza realizes what is happening!
Shocked by his mother's decision, Reza stands against the sale of the farm and refuses to let their house and life be sold. He also apologizes to Ruqyeh for his actions and asks her mother to put the thought of selling the house and farm out of her mind.
