St. Cloud Florida real estate agent Superstar Ansel Crombleholme II of Corcoran Connect is interviewed by Jeanine Corcoran. Ansel was first asked by Jeanine how long he had been a realtor. He replied that he has been a realtor since October 2002.
Jeanine followed up and asked Ansel what inspired him to do this line of work. He stated he was in school for accounting and started to get bored with that. Ansel shared that he took a Russ Whitney weekend investment seminar which focused on Cape Coral at the time. At the time, that market was super-hot.
Ansel’s goal was to become an investment king but admitted that at 19, it was tough to get a mortgage. This is where he decided to get involved in the real estate industry and become a realtor.
Ansel was asked by Jeanine what is his favorite part about being in the real estate business. He said being a helper is what he loves doing, helping people. I connect with the person or couple I’m going to be working with and my goal is to get them through the process where everyone is happy.
Jeanine then asked him if he had a story or experience he wanted to share with the audience. Ansel said he had tons of stories which simply means tons of lessons learned along the way. The story he shared was when he lived in New Hampshire and one of his agents was doing bank-owned real estate transactions.
He continued that when you do bank-owned deals, sometimes they send you a letter and tell you to literally break into the house because it is foreclosed, and they may not have keys. The bank basically says find a way in and we will fix it later.
Ansel admitted that they had neglected to think through that process. Next thing you know, a police car pulls up and the officer gets out with his gun drawn at the ground and they come out with their hands up. A neighbor had seen the two of them going in through a window and called the police. He said lesson learned, next time call the police in advance and give them a heads up.
Jeanine asked Ansel to tell the audience who don’t know him a little bit more about himself. He said that he is a husband and a father of 3 children. Ansel said he is a fun guy and likes to spend a lot of time with his family. Ansel said currently he has a goal with his daughter to visit 50 of the playgrounds in their area on their bikes.
He said when they first moved here that every neighborhood had its own playground. So, he started biking with his daughter to each one and taking a few pictures of where they arrived. Jeanine said that he should share those images on social media as that would be a great story to share.
Jeanine asked Ansel to share one thing that he loves about working at Corcoran Connect. He said there is a lot that he loves about working here but added that the biggest thing he feels, even from day one, is that he is family at Corcoran Connect and that means a lot to him.
