Welcome to our channel! This Log Cabin Project is a dream that we have had for several years that we finally decided to make a reality. Our goal is to build a tiny log cabin from scratch using as much material from our land as possible. We are building it entirely using hand tools (no chainsaw!). In this episode, we return from Iceland and start working again on the cabin. We harvested a dead fall balsam fir in July, and we use it to build a post for the second floor. Not only will it support the railing, but it also helps distribute the roof load better. We then attached a railing and made balusters from branches we found around the cabin. We also give an update on Nick's injury. He should be out of his cast soon!
