In this episode of the Trappers Cabin Offgrid Build, I take a big step forward and start building the floor system using lumber I harvested and milled myself right here on the property. There’s nothing quite like turning your own trees into something solid you can stand on—it’s one of the most rewarding parts of offgrid living.
I also managed to score some big pine logs that helped me finish out the floor joists and keep this build moving forward. Piece by piece, this cabin is coming together the hard way—by hand, with sweat equity, and a whole lot of determination.
