Why aren't we just expanding the current cabin? We don't want to. 😁
This build is NOT a new cabin for us to live in. We are very happy in our current space! We are building a combination guest cabin / bath house.
This 12x16 space will have a full bathtub/shower, stacked washer/dryer, and a spare bed for our guests to stay in.
Expanding the current cabin turns our cozy home into a construction zone and frankly, we are happy with the current cabin how it is. All we are currently missing is a bathrom type space so we decided to combine that with a guest space in this new cabin.
I hope that answers some questions! In the editing process, I realized we didn't spend a ton of time talking about how we plan to use the new cabin.
