Condos can be a great investment if all of the following factors apply. 1. The property can be rented for more than all of the combined monthly carrying costs. 2. The area the condo is located in has a good historical record of appreciating values. 3. You agree with the rental policy, there are more owners than renters in the building and no major pending special assessments.
