Our tiny house build is really starting to take shape now, as this week we build the walls of our little cabin in the mountains using Light Steel Frame (LSF).
Why are we building walls from Light Steel Frame instead of wood? Well, it’s light but strong, and simple to construct. Building with Light Steel Frame is so fast and easy, and costs about 30%-50% of the price of wood, depending on which country you're in. Plus, you only need a few good quality tools to build a cabin with LSF!
Building a tiny house with Light Steel Frame proved to be so much faster than we anticipated and in just 3 days we built out all 4 walls and erected them on top of the wooden base frame. We will also be building a roof with LSF, so stay tuned to see those future videos.
